The globalisation of the world economy and fast growth of eBusiness create new opportunities for international traders, however, they bring in their risks as well. Companies need expertise to be able to face the internationalisation of trade and the challenge of eBusiness, as well as to learn the principles of the new digital economy. This course takes us through the fundamentals of eBusiness and progresses through key areas of eBusiness such as e-marketing, online distribution, e-logistics, brands on the Internet and e-promotion. Significant use of B2B and B2C case studies are examined in detail. From here more strategic aspects of designing and implementing an eBusiness plan and establishing online shops with appropriate online security is examined. Practical skills including web page creation, use of e-mail and chat and effective Internet research are also covered. Learning Units in this course:

The ITS Accreditation Programme is a golden opportunity to learn about International Trade. Communicating with eBSI tutors and the possibility to share opinions and views with fellow students meant that I really enjoyed and benefited from the learning process.

This course was very important for me. Firstly it was a new way of studying for me, secondly there were very interesting course materials on the CDs provided which were easy and convenient to study with many interesting examples. Thirdly I liked the direct contact with experienced teachers, discussion of real-life problems on online sessions and forums. Finally I enjoyed making new contact with peoples from the entire word.

Working as a consultant on the road I thought it would be a good idea to undertake a professional course of study. The ITS Accreditation has exceeded my expectations. The eLearning Technology meant I could study in an engaging manner at a time and a pace that matched my busy schedule. The quality of learning elements brought to bear by the trade professionals working at the eBSI was a breath of fresh air after paper based correspondence courses. I have finished the programme but I am still hooked on participation in the online activities.

My experiences with the team from eBSI in 2003 were second to none, I found the ITS Accreditation extremely informative & interesting with a very high level of professionalism maintained throughout duration of course. The online sessions proved that a ‘class room’ environment can be achieved at your work desk or home study, while the occasional group meetings provided fantastic Q&A opportunities with the eBSI tutors.(and fellow students)
A very worth while and enjoyable experience.
